Norman Essery Minor Fastball Grant.

Norman Essery was born in 1937 and passed away in June 2021. His early
years were spent in Sooke. He attended Sooke Elementary School and
graduated from Milnes Landing High in 1955.
Norm could be characterized as an easy guy to like, talented
sportsmanand family man.  In his honor, a fund has been established to
yearly
award two children the current seasons registration fees.
The application is open to all players U11 and down. Since Norm had
such a love for the game, we’d like applicants to apply by telling us
how
they became involved in the sport, what fastball means to them or why
they love the game. Players facing financial difficulties are also
welcome to apply. Only successful applicants will be contacted and
thosechildren are asked write a letter of thanks to the Essery family as
acceptance.
